Info for the Sunday

Please note: we have not distributed physical or e-tickets for any of the talks. We will be checking names off the list as attendees arrive.

We’ll be handing out programmes with timings at the entries to both venues.

AUTHOR TALKS:

If you’ve booked onto specific talks, we recommend you arrive a little early to grab a seat (30 minutes ideally). We’ll be opening the doors for each talk 15 minutes before the start time. There are no physical tickets for this event, instead, we’ll have a list of names handy and will be ticking people off as they arrive.

Afterwards, there will be a book stall and signing in Victoria’s Clubhouse Social Café. The food and drink offering across both venues is exceptional, so do stay for a coffee or cocktail and something to eat. They’re opening from 9am on the day.

THE VENUES:

The Mowbray: hosting our book and makers market, full of independent traders, stacks of books, and plenty to browse. Entry is free, but we’re asking people to book a ticket in advance. [LINK] The Mowbray’s address is 118 Mowbray Street, S3 8EN

Victoria: where our author events will be taking place throughout the day (see your programme for timings). Victoria's address is 1 Rowland Street, Sheffield, S3 8DE

Victoria also is home to Clubhouse Social which is our festival hangout for all things food, drinks and coffee - with a beautiful big Courtyard for drinking and dining.

Use the door on the left to access all author talks at The Chapel (lift access is available inside, from The Clubhouse Social - just speak to a member of staff).

Filter through the ‘Victoria’ doors on the right to access the Lodge and Clubhouse Social cafe. 

There will be friendly faces to help you find your way throughout the day.

Parking + travel

Both venues are easily accessible via public transport or taxis. 

There are street parking bays available in and around the area including Mowbray Street, Burton Road, Harvest Lane, Neepsend Lane and throughout Kelham Island and Neepsend. 

Sunday - 9am - 3pm - Free parking after 3pm. All Day is £2.

Food + drink
If you’ve never eaten at The Mowbray or Victoria, you are seriously in for a treat:

At Victoria - from 9am 
Order all food at the bar in The Clubhouse Social, our ground floor cafe/bar.

If you’re ordering from the Fire Kitchen 
Order at the bar - and you’ll be given a ticket to redeem from the chefs at the Fire Kitchen in The Courtyard - where there will be plenty of seating to enjoy the day

At The Mowbray - from 10am
Order coffee, cakes and cocktails at The Bar inside the main market - or go ‘Up On The Roof’ to enjoy the first floor roof terrace.

A couple of small things

You're free to wander between both The Mowbray and Victoria all day... You can visit both venues as many times as you like. The venues are separated by roads - so please take care and a close eye on the roads and traffic as you cross between buildings. You'll be directed at the door of each venue the best way to reach The Mowbray and Victoria - which are a 2 minute walk apart. 

We’ve poured a lot of love into this and truly can’t wait to see it come to life with all of you in the room.
